Weather Dock

Great to have on right on the bottom of the screen to just check the temperature and the graphic is helpful too. A quick click gives you a forcast two days out in the free version. Very helpful.

Weather Dock BAIT APP

Worth what you pay for the free version. It’s a bait and switch app. Gives same info my clock does. Want more, then buy it for $2.99! Then you [like me] the novice cannot remove it from your screen. Contacted customer service. NO RESPONSE.! You better off using Apple app that comes with your iMac.

Wondefrul App

I’ve used it everyday and so far no complain. it is accurate and so convenient since it is on the dock. Good job.

So far, so good

I have only been using this app for a couuple of weeks. So far, I have been very pleased with the accuracy of the reporting and the forecast.

Great Support

I paid for the upgrade to this free version but had some issues after the upgrade. I clicked and sent feedback explaining the problem and received a prompt reply with the resolution from Tom. Many times we can be quick to complain but I wanted to take a moment to say “thank you”!

Radar

I would give this a 5 star rating if it had live weather radar. Other than that, it gives me what I need to get the day off and rolling.

Nice

This weather app is very nice. Accurate and none irratating. I can also keep up with the weather in multiple locations. Thank You

Recommended

I wanted to use it for a few weeks before rating it. So far so good. Matches what I see and feel outside and as far as I can tell doesnt have any downsides like making my computer crash or something. I like how I can turn on my pc and at a glance know what to expect for the day. I think it works fine offline too.

Extremely Annoying Pestering

I usually start off with the free version and evaluate the App and see if I am going to find it useful and does it do what it says. From the first the App kept putting up the splash screen to upgrade and offer other offerings. This happened every day and sometime it seems like more then once a day. If I wanted the paid versionI woud have bought it, without being Pestered and having the offer thrown in my face. From the start there were a few small things I wanted to evaluate, before putting money in an upgrade, but I needed to know if I could tolerate the small imperfections or if they were going to bother me. I had already decided if I liked the App I was going to upgrade, but the annoying pestering requesting I upgrade I found intolerable and the programmers were pushing too hard for my dollars, and not concdrned if I liked it or not. I understand part of this problem is Apples® as there is no way to tryout an App (say a one month trial and if you do not like the app it goes away, but no if I do not like it is stays on my list forever. If you are going to push the upgrade Why Not Just drop the free version with ads and offer only the upgrade version ONLY!

Nice app

This app is nice.It is accurate and it looks good. If I were to request one improvement that would be radar. I do recomend this app.

Quik temperature and weather at a look on your desktop

I like it, easy and accuarite right on your desktop info bar. Must have app.

Weather Dock

Accuracy is OK….still getting comfortable with it so it was a little early in my experience with the app to be asked multiple times to review it . When I finaly agreed to review the app , I would have expected to be sent automatically to an easily intuitive review page . I like the app icon apearing automatically on the dock with the current temperature and basic conditions. It operates so differently than the weather app I was using and that is not necessarily a bad thing but I need to play around with it more to be comfortable , although it seems to have a lot of aspects that I will use.

One gets what one pays for

the app does what it says it does for free, that is all I need.

Not as annoyed as another reviewer.

What you get for “free”: A no frills, real-time, single location weather check in the dock and app-switcher thingy (you know- command+tab). The freemium app reminds you that there are in-app purchases 1-2 times a day. I’m not as annoyed by it as another reviewer and frankly I don’t need/want what the additional $3 offers. Seems stable after a few weeks of usage. I say go for it!

good addition

I also combine with Swackett and an onsite Weather station

Weather Dock

Awesome app works perfect

It’s Just Okay

It’s good if you want today’s weather forecast but if you want additional info you have to pay for the enhanced edition. That’s crazy! So I continue to use my iphone or ipad when i need more detailed weather info.

over rated. not user friendly

This App is over rated. Not user friendly. It seens cluttered when you attempt to use.. other are much easier to use.

Charged wrong amount

The app constantly pesters you to pay money to get rid of ads. The offer that appeared was to pay $2.99 to upgrade, but when I upgraded I was charged $3.99. Rip off!!

Great App

I like the app, but one must purchase the upgrade to get more than 3 locations in your favorites. It is quite handy on my MacBook Pro.
