Weather Dock: Desktop forecast App Reviews

This is a very basic app for weather. Every time I open my computer, a pop-up from WeatherDock comes up asking me to upgrade to their paid version. I tried to download it just to get rid of the ads, and it didn’t work. Had to contact Apple and have the charge reversed, but am still dealing with the pop-up. On a positive side their graphics are attractive. There are other weather apps that have more to offer for free. I’m deleting this one.

The update is not nearly as good as the previous app. Mine opens with the wrong termperature and takes a minute to change to the correct one. Sometimes it opens to a different area. I have tried to fix it but have been unable to. I paid for this app, which appears now to be a mistake.

After paying for ad removal, to stop the popups, the anticipated radar display did not happen. I live in Texas and having all weather function in one place, especially today with all the sever weather warnings, is a need not a luxury.

Re visit. Gone, Gome, Gone Haven’t missed it When I complained to the author, he said the cost was less than a Latte! Don’t waste my money at Starbucks either. As has been said this App is continually pestering me to upgrade. Since it doesn’t give much more info than the Notification page, I’ll not upgrade and if it keeps up the pester it will be deleted. Update. Most aggravating. pestering App ever.

Program does as described. shows 5 day forecast and hourly report for only current day. If i want a more detailed weather app I go on-line.
